Crisis Services

SAFE offers services 24 hours each day for those experiencing domestic or sexual violence or homelessness.  Emergency shelter and outreach services are available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.  If you are experiencing domestic violence, sexual violence or homelessness, help is just a phone call away. 

24 hr Hotline

If you have questions about domestic or sexual violence, SAFE’s hotline is answered twenty-four hours a day, every day. Our staff and volunteer advocates can answer questions about domestic or sexual violence, offer assistance with planning for safety, and provide information about community resources that may help. Callers on our hotline include survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and friends or family members who are concerned about those they love who may be experiencing domestic or sexual violence. Walk-in Advocacy Services

SAFE Advocates are available to help if you are experiencing domestic or sexual violence.  Advocates in our office are available from 9:00-4:00 each day.  No appointment is needed, there’s someone here to answer your questions, offer information about domestic and sexual violence and help with planning for future safety. Legal Advocacy

The legal system can seem overwhelming for those experiencing domestic and sexual violence.  SAFE helps survivors by providing information about the civil and legal justice systems, assisting with filing petitions requesting orders of protection and providing legal referrals.    To learn more about legal advocacy services, call 406-363-4600.

Outreach and Advocacy (Children  Under 6)

SAFE offers both adult and child support groups for those who have experienced domestic and sexual violence. Utilizing a variety of activities, survivors explore the impact of domestic and sexual violence, learn strategies for minimizing trauma responses and connect with other survivors. Support groups for adults and children happen at the same time and free child care is available for children younger than (age?). To learn more about SAFE support groups, call 406-363-4600.
